Received the new salad spinner today. Boy that was quick! Though I was not too impressed with the “product suggestions” department, the customer service sure is great. The new one even has a separate lid, for storing your spun and dried salad greens in the fridge. Nice! Which means you don’t need to use the top part where the spring is to cover your spinner in the fridge — which means no humidity or errant moisture getting into the mechanism — which means it will last longer. Way to go, OXO! Count me a happy customer once more.

The OXO salad spinner is a life-changing kitchen implement. I love mine…their whisks are great too.
