Valerie,

Ugh, I have a love-hate relationship with it. My new resolution is to only borrow it from the library once a year at curriculum-planning time. I go from extremes of unschooling-classical schooling; this year what I'm trying to do is just achieve some balance:)

Hi Cindy, sorry for just getting back to you now. I mean to do a post on my Circa system once I have everything set up.

Basically what I got from Levenger are their punch, a few of the forms/pages that were on sale, a pagefinder and a jacket/folio.

I plan to make my own templates/forms using Open Office software.

I ordered Rollabind discs from marcospaper.com

I may at some point order/buy patterned paper (like scrapbooking paper or printed stationery) for some nice pages I'd like to make.

I've got a list of links to planner pages -- can't post now and the links are in the other computer. You can google for "planner pages" and that should give you a list to start with; I'll be posting on these soon.

Just came across your blog from a link to another blogger. This is the first I have heard of circa type planners. Do you have a list of the items that you decided to purchase? I see a couple of the items that you have mentioned but am trying to get a picture of what would be the best ones to get myself. I need to try to get something together for the least amt possible. I am thinking a punch would be very good as I can tailor some of my own pages but don't want to try to reinvent the wheel if there are great planner pages out there for a large homeschooling family that would work well with these systems.

any help appreciated (but I hate to take up much more of your time)

LOL! I have the same relationship with WTM! For now it is on my shelf...but it has been purchased twice and sold once.

And wow on your sales! I've had some stuff listed at various places for the last week and so far just two sales. I have a few watchers at eBay for some items, but only one bold enough to actually BID on something. With a day left on the auction, I'm hoping some are just holding out until the last hours. If not, then I'll list at Amazon. That's usually where I sell. Oh well...
