This year our plans were finally commpleted and brought to fruition. We have erected a shrine to the Holy Innocents in our parish. The shrine includes a statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe, an aborted baby in angel wings at Her feet, a grieving angel praying, and 2 engraved plaques of prayers on each side. One is a dedication, and the other is a series of prayers for the unborn, and those who died at birth or shortly after birth. One of the Saints included on our prayer plaque is Saint Gianna, hoping and praying that everyone will stand up for the unborn when it comes time to take action, and of course continually pray for the end to abortion. We can all do our share in this battle, whether it be prayer or action.
Faithfully in Christ,
Carolyn Johnson &
Dorothy K. Kardas, Psy.D.Th.D.

P.S. My sister Dorothy writes a great deal about the evils of abortion through poetry and prose, in books and through the internet poetry sites.
