Fr. Dwight makes a sad observation here.

I agree. It’s also desensitization. When you see violence all over the place, real and unreal (video games, movies, TV) it’s easy for everything to just become one huge blur. And I think (analyzing some of my friends’ responses to what’s happening) the thinking goes, “I have my family to worry about, my job, my personal problems.” That’s more than enough for some of them. When they sit down in front of the computer or the TV at the end of the day, they want to relax, to be entertained, to zone out.

No one wants to click on one more Planned Parenthood post. I know I don’t. I haven’t watched any of them after the 3rd video, because I had seen enough and David Daleiden did say they were going to get progressively worse. Just the descriptions and commentary from fellow pro-lifers are more than enough for me.

Sometimes when I get to thinking of the apathy it makes me want to just shut down and cocoon from the world. But I know that’s not going to help, so I force myself to hit that “Share” button, one more time.
