The ATTG Family

Very impressed with your site and so far I am learning a lot. My hubby is craving for a Puto Bungbong and not sure if the ingredients are available in Singapore. I’m wondering if you manage to find it?
Thanks Abby
Was hoping to find the turkey lechon/pabochon recipe that I saw on another website.
Where would it be listed?
Hello Steph,
We noticed that your paternal great-grandmother used to make Judge Peter’s Pudding every Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is a tradition in our family as well! As a matter of fact, we are in the process of making it right now (on December 23rd) just as my daughter’s great-great grandmother used to do every Christmas eve. We have always wondered who Judge Peter was? Do you happen to know? Would you like to share recipes? and we would be interested in knowing any history you may have discovered about this dessert.
Thank you!
Merry Christmas,
Janet
I have tried for several years to find a recipe for Judge Peter’s Pudding. When I was young we had it most years at the holidays, but the family recipe seems to have been lost. The ingredients I remember were lemon jello, chopped nuts and chopped dates.
